To Lease, or Rent?

Is renting really your best option in Pittsburgh?

Renting a copier can be very handy if you don’t always need one. It seems like the right thing to do for the occasional job. Right now the economy is tough though and the obvious solution isn’t necessarily the best one. It’s possible that leasing a copier will save you money.

1. How much do you print per month?
2. What, if any, advanced features do you need? (Stapling, hole punching, color, etc.)
3. How many pages per minute do you need it to be capable of printing?

If you don’t need a lot of advanced features and you do a decent print volume you’re an ideal candidate for leasing. You just need to see if it will make financial sense in your situation. If you need advanced features then renting still might be the best option, but looking at what a lease would cost can’t hurt.
